Samsung launched its Galaxy Tab A in India in August 2018. The Samsung Galaxy Tab was launched especially for those who prefer to watch videos on tablets rather than laptops, and also for those who do not like to move the laptop. This Samsung Tablet is available in three color variants which include Black, Blue, and White. Out of these, we got the black color variant for review which we used for about 15 days, so let's know how much work is done in this 10.5-inch tab of Samsung?
Talking about the specification of Galaxy Tab A, it has a 10.5-inch full HD TFT display with a resolution of 1920x1200. Apart from this, this tab has 32 GB of storage with 3 GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 400 GB via memory card. The Galaxy Tab has an 8-megapixel rear camera with flashlight and a 5-megapixel CNC camera. The flashlight is not provided with the camera. Apart from this, 4G institute support with Wi-Fi, Qualcomm to dragon 450 processor, Dolby speaker, FM radio, Android Oreo 8.1, 7300 mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.2 and 3.5mm headphone jack have been provided. Samsung's Assistant Bixby is supported in this tab. Its price is Rs 29,990.
Design and Display
The design of Galaxy Tab A is good and you will like it. There are two grilles just below the tab and the speaker is given in both. There is a USB Type-C charging port in the middle of both grills. Power and volume buttons are provided on the right side of the tab. On the right side are the SIM card and memory card slots on the bottom, which are given in the same tray. The body of the tab is plastic but does not slip when taken in hand, because you get the grip in it. The rear camera is square and has a flashlight just below it. There is space to the left of the tab and the keyboards. Now talk about the display, you will not have any complaints in watching the video. The video viewing angle is great. In such a situation, the video can be seen sitting comfortably in the group. The mix of colors in the display is also good.
Talking about the camera, this Samsung Tablet has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Although complaints are usually received about the tablet's camera, the Galaxy Tab camera is satisfactory. Quality was good during video calls, although if the company had provided a flashlight with a front camera, it would have been icing on the cake. During the video calling and selfie, we felt the lack of flashlight in the front. Now, in the light of the room, the photo comes right, while in the light of day, the photo comes out best. At the same time, the photo clicked with the flashlight was good. The front camera is not great but is decent.
As far as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A battery is concerned, the company has done a lot of work on the battery and in this way, with this tab, a 7300 mAh battery is available which takes 3 hours 15 minutes to be fully charged, although the battery Backup will make your heart happy, because the battery gives more than 10 hours of backup when watching videos on Galaxy Tab A, which is really great. With the Samsung tablet, you get a fast charger. Please tell that Samsung has claimed 14 hours of backup regarding the battery.
In this tab, you get Kids Mode in which children are able to get content. By activating this mode with a PIN i.e. password, you can give tabs in the hands of children. In this mode, you also have the option that you can decide at a time how long your child uses the tab. This model is specially designed for children. It also offers games for children. When this mode is turned on, the child cannot see other contents present in the tablet nor can it go into any file. Also, it cannot come out of Kids Mode, because a password is required to exit. In this tab also you find many apps from Samsung and Microsoft which are in a folder.
